Ryder would love to ride right out of the shelter and into a home. Ryder is 8 years old so he... probably had a home at one point. Who knows how he ended up in the shelter but we'd love to see him in a good home once again. He's not ready for retirement yet and has plenty of good energy. Just throw him a ball and watch him chase it. He's all about toys, more so than treats. He knows how to sit and is pretty easy to leash and walk. He's also displayed friendliness to other dogs. Phoenix's can be shy until he gets to know you but he takes treats very gently and likes them a lot.... He seems house-trained and he's super cute. Our photo team said, "If you feed him a little something you will win his heart. he put his front paws on the lounge and just stood there like a magnificent hero. He poses like a supermodel. He looks back over his shoulder in a graceful way. Very handsome. " In the yard he sniffed toys but he didn't play with them - more interested in the people. Gopher is a stunning looking, husky-like dog with one piercing blue eye and one brown eye. He is... tall and long legged, and still needs to fill out. Kodak Black is a strikingly handsome fellow with floppy ears and soulful eyes. He's only a year old... and 85 lbs yet walks well on leash. He has a unique and interesting coat pattern which he'd be happy to show you. He's an owner surrender but his owner made a point of mentioning that Kodak Black is very lovey dovey and cuddly and he really didn't want to give him up. At 10 years old, he's stuck in the shelter, but you'd never guess his age by the way he greets everyone with joy. eremy seems to be a typical husky. He enjoyed spending time with a his best bud during his photo... shoot. Gorgeous husky looks, including thick coat and piercing blue eyes. He loved being pet and brushed and was easy to handle and get from kennel and back in. When he stopped playing he wanted to lean in on legs to get attention and pets. A volunteer told us. "He had a blast in the play yard today and was friendly when another dog passed by on the other side of the fence. He is silly and had a good amount of energy. Salt is a very good boy. During his photo shoot he came out, jumped onto the the lounge chair, and... began sitting on his handlers's knee. He's a great dog with a cool look to him. Lexus was found as a stray and brought to the shelter scared & skinny. She's about 2 years old and... 60lbs and while we don't breed test, she is a shepherd-y critter who would do best with a person experienced in working breeds. She has beautiful brindle coloring and her ears are seriously fabulous. She LOVES people and wants nothing more than to be close to them. She is dog possible with proper, slow introductions. Likely house trained & crate trained (but not a fan of the crate) takes treats gently and walks well on leash. Fun facts: Loves blueberries & does a great impression of a wiggle worm in the grass.
